This oracle is a beautiful system of divination and transformation.  It's no wonder that long ago, I was captivated by the colorful cards that seemed to call out to me.  At that point in time, this was something very new and different for me than the Tarot.  And so it got put on the shelf until I was "ready" for it.  I find the insights from this set of 33 richly illustrated cards to be very spiritual as well as practical and empowering.  This is not your typical average oracle system.  It encourages you to take a journey within to find your purpose and your truth, and it offers opportunity to create lasting change as you discover the spiritual wealth within yourself.

This oracle also provides aspects to look at timing in a way that a lot of oracles do not do.  So if you are one who likes to look at possible timing factors in a reading, this set of cards can help with that.  These cards have revealed to me more than I imagined possible about a particular situation in my life that I wanted to know how to properly deal with, and the wisdom I gained was astonishing.  I learned a few facts about this particular situation and a piece of timing that I had not even considered asking about -- but was obviously something I was meant to know and be aware of with regard to that situation.  I was quite impressed with this system.  It offers so much "food for thought" that one cannot walk away from this type of reading without having gained something of value.

This oracle is also an excellent one for drawing a single card of advice about a situation that affects you.  It's like a lifestyle perhaps more so than "just" an oracle.  The discovery of the Faces of WomanSpirit came about through author Katherine Torres' shamanic journey to the Isle of Avalon.  It is there in which she connected to this special and sacred feminine wisdom.  She presents this deck as an intuitive tool to help one find the path of her own Divine Feminine Self and to awaken the ancient knowledge within.
