This is an oracle for which I had to decide upon which of the sister sites I would place it. It could have had its "home" at Enchanted Oracles, as this is an oracle deck, or I could have placed it on Angel Wisdom Readings since almost half of the cards are from the angelic realm. However, I decided to place it here at the Goddess Wisdom Readings sister site. The Angels, Gods & Goddesses deck contains 45 lovely and insightful cards and a 63-page guidebook. If you are familiar with the work of Doreen Virtue, you will find that this oracle works in a similar way as her angel and fairy card oracles. Each card is listed in the guidebook with a main message and an expanded message that can help you draw upon your intuition for deeper meaning. Both masculine and feminine deities are incorporated in this oracle, so this particular deck is not limited to just the realm of goddess energy.
These cards work nicely for one-card reading draws or for readings that range from one to three cards, but they can be used for larger spreads. In fact, the guidebook contains spreads with ten or more cards used. Beginners to the world of oracles might prefer to stick with one to three card readings until they become familiar with how an oracle works. A vast array of information can come up in a larger reading, and for a beginner, this may be hard to put together in a cohesive fashion. That is also true of the Tarot and other oracles when newbies take their first steps into their new journey of exploration.
A favorite spread of mind included in the guidebook is the Psychic Seven (using 7 cards) which is designed to explore your personal potential. I explored some very exciting information in that layout about a question I brought to the cards in terms of my work. The Psychic Seven Reading is also offered on my goddess readings order page. I liked the layout so much that I had to include it among my reading offerings, and I have made note that it works nicely with the Angels, Gods & Goddesses oracle (although certainly it's a spread that could be used with other decks as well).
There are 25 Angel cards in this deck, 6 cards related to gods, and the remaining 14 cards are all about goddesses. I don't use reversals in this deck, and that topic is not mentioned in the guidebook. If a reversal happened to come up in the reading, it could signify a block or a particular message of special importance -- perhaps a challenge that must be faced and not avoided.
I find this to be a peaceful deck that brings out messages with love and light. The cards have a graceful and "mystic" sensuality to them. They are not extravagantly detailed, but certainly include sufficient detail to shed the appropriate light on a topic of concern. Each card makes a point in a way that is powerful enough to grasp and use to one's advantage.
